The Chinese people, especially students found great difficulty when they learn English. Today, English is taught in almost all schools and universities and students learn English and youth at younger ages. Many students or not students learn English outside of school. But after many years of learning still not fluent in English, every time you have a doctorate. Why?
It is because they want to learn English. This seems a joke, how can a person English teacher if he does not want? Hence, the reason that only want to learn English. They do not want to use it, many people will say that he or she wants to use it, but actually, have not used. For most students, only the use of English is to prepare for the examination, but an exam? While examining and passing students get high scores, are left to learn English as soon as possible. Some students say they hate the English when they are learning English very difficult for a review! What a pity!
After all, what students have come together to the high scores? In fact they have won something. They have managed to translate into English and Chinese face the other way around. Many new Chinese words derived from English are emerging, and there are many. The ramifications are so common that many Chinese people think is that English words are derived from Chinese. The Chinese people are accustomed to translate every word in Chinese English before they can understand the meaning of the word or a passage. As a language should be used to represent the real world to make a connection, the Chinese people use English to represent Chinese, not the real world. Without connection with reality and knowledge, the Chinese people find that English is useless. Not surprisingly, many Chinese people potentially giving up the tedious and useless thing.
This situation still exists within the whole China, especially mainland China. To overcome this problem needs of millions of people to do something - Stop the way they teach correspondence between English and Chinese, however, relate directly to the English materials without translation skills in teaching. To achieve this, we can establish a curriculum that does not include some English courses such as mathematics, given in English.
